Hafidh Abdulahad is a Qur’an Instructor at the Preservers' Prize. By the grace of Allah, Hdh. Abdulahad completed the memorization of the Qur’an in 2014 under the tutelage of Shaykh Sajjad Gul (Hifz Director at East Plano Islamic Center). He was blessed with the opportunity to start teaching immediately after in the part-time Hifz program, Nadirah program, and serving as an assistant at the full-time Tahfiz school all under the supervision of his teacher, Shaykh Sajjad. From this he learned the ins and outs of managing a classroom and developing students.

He is a graduate from IANT Quranic Academy and obtained his ijazah in the recitations of Qalun ‘an Nafi' and Hafs ‘an 'Asim from Shaykh Saad Hassanain. Hafidh Abdulahad completed the Ilmiyyah program at Al-Hirz Institute and is continuing his studies under Shaykh Okasha Kameny. He has also graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.S. in Psychology and is currently pursuing higher education. 

He is motivated to teach by the saying of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, that the best of people are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it. He loves to see his students grow through learning the Qur’an and applying it in their life.

Abdulahad’s goal is to raise teachers of the Book of Allah, the same way he was taught, to not just learn the Book to read it but to build students who will spread and teach others, being the best of people.

Hafidh Irslan is a Qur'an & Islamic Studies instructor at the Preservers' Prize. His commitment to serving and passion for teaching has led to him being involved with many youth organizations and mentorship opportunities since he was 12.

He has spent years with people of knowledge, completing his Hifz in 2011 and continuing to be closely mentored by a handful of local scholars and a'immah ever since. Hdh. Irslan is currently enrolled in Al-Hirz Institute with Shaykh Okasha Kameny, a world-renowned scholar. He has previously taught Islamic Studies at B.H.A., East Plano Islamic Center, BEAM academy, and other initiatives. Today, he has a B.S. in Neuroscience and is pursuing his Masters in Islamic Education at Bayan Islamic Graduate School.

He started teaching Qur’an at a time when he wanted to continue his relationship with the book of Allah and share love for it with others. He looks forward to seeing a student’s eyes light up and their smile grow at learning something new about the Qur’an. 

Irslan is motivated to be the best teacher he can be by knowing that the him and his students are part of unending chain that traces back to the Messenger of Allah ‎ﷺ back to Angel Jibril (AS) to Allah Himself. 

Hafidh Salman is a Qur’an Instructor at the Preservers' Prize. By the permission of Allah, Hdh. Salman completed the memorization of the Qur’an with Shaykh Masood Ahmad in 2012. From 2016 to 2020, Hdh. Salman taught the Qur’an under the management of Shaykh Sajjad Gul, and he is still teaching privately at numerous levels. 

He completed the Ilmiyyah program at Al-Hirz Institute and is continuing his studies under Shaykh Okasha Kameny. Hdh. Salman obtained ijazah in Hafs with Shaykh Sajjad and is working towards getting his ijazah in the qira’ah of Imam 'Asim (Shu’bah & Hafs) with Shaykh Saad Hassanain. He also has a B.S. in I.T. Management. 

He was inspired to start his journey of learning and teaching the Book of Allah from his first Qur’an teacher, Shaykh Abdulhakim al Yemeni, who taught him Surah Fatiha. His teacher instilled the love for the religion and for the Qur’an in his heart when he was just 6 years old and from then on he dedicated himself to develop a relationship with the Quran, as it is a friendship that will last for eternity.

Salman hopes to connect his students to the Book of Allah like he was to inspire them from the Qur’an to become the Imam of our era.

Hafidh Abdulbaari is a Qur’an Instructor at the Preservers' Prize. By the permission of Allah, Hdh. Abdulbaari Mohammed completed the memorization of the Qur’an under the guidance of Shaykh Sajjad Gul. Since his completion of memorization in 2015, he has been blessed with the opportunity to teach Qur’an at different levels including both full-time and part-time programs; teaching students of various different age groups. 

Hdh. Abdulbaari completed the Ilmiyyah program at Al-Hirz Institute and is continuing his studies under Shaykh Okasha Kameny. He is currently pursuing a B.S. in Cyber Security.

Abdulbaari teaches as a way to pass on what he has learned and finds great joy in witnessing the growth of his students that inspire him everyday.

His goal is to provide his students with a solid foundation with reading the Qur’an proficiently so they can read the Noble Book for the rest of their lives with love and ultimately become true carriers of the Qur’an.

Sister Hibbah received her Diploma in Islamic Education with a specialization and ijazah in Tajweed from Karachi, Pakistan. She continued her journey by teaching Tajweed through different courses at Al-Huda International and Al-Maarij Institute from 2017-2019 before further refining her Adaa under her Egyption teacher, Shaykha Marwa El-Gindy. Sr. Hibbah then began teaching students of various levels and ages at the Valley Ranch Islamic Center Quran School from 2019-2023. 

She is a graduate of ISRA Seminary and Visionaries Leadership Academy. Sr. Hibbah is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Education and plays active roles in the community. 

Her love for the Quran began when her teachers showed her that the Book of Allah is a lifelong guide that will only bring success and happiness. Once she realized the treasure she’d been given and the hidden gems on every page, she knew she had to make sure others knew the gift they had as well. 

Hibbah hopes to truly connect her students to the Quran so that they too love the One who revealed it, starting with being able to read it correctly. With a strong foundation in its correct recitation, she aspires to show her students just why the Quran meant so much to the righteous of the past and how we as an Ummah can carry that legacy forward.
