Meet Your Instructor
Imam Isa ibn Matta
Co-Founder & Instructor at The Preservers, Imam of Khair Community Center. Imam Isa grew up in Kentucky, studied at a Christian seminary, and served as a Youth Minister before embracing Islam in 2013. Since then, he has studied with over a dozen scholars and completed ijaazaat in Qur’an, Arabic, Qirā’āt, Tafsīr, ʿAqīdah, and Tajwīd.
He also holds a background in Psychology, Philosophy, Communications, Arts, and Project Management, with certifications in Mental Health. Over the past decade, he has served numerous masājid, schools, and Islamic organizations across the U.S.
Dedicated to making Islam practical and accessible for all ages, Imam Isa strives to help people meet Allah in a state that pleases Him.
